Wanted to make a proper post about JagerPMC, the site, the product, and my honest take after actually getting hands on with it. At first glance, sure, you could say it’s just another 10/22 chassis. But that would be underselling it. Yeah, there are a ton of other 10/22 chassis options out there. I know that. That’s exactly why I’m posting this. I compared a bunch of them, and after actually getting hands on with different setups, this is the one I ended up liking the most. This is the one I know I’m actually going to enjoy for regular plinking and range time, instead of buying it and regretting the money later. What makes this one stand out is that it’s actually affordable, actually customizable, and actually comes with a ton of options without feeling cheap. A lot of chassis builds sound cool until you get into weird fitment, mediocre finish, or a price tag that makes no sense. This one actually delivered. The first thing I noticed was how clean everything felt. Properly indexed, flush against the metal, and like it was meant to be this way from the start. The finish is crisp too, not just visually, but to the touch. The second I picked it up, I immediately got it. I was like, jfc, this is crisp. Yeah, it has some weight to it, but no shit, it’s aircraft-grade aluminum CNC’d to spec. That weight makes sense once you actually hold it. It feels solid, not sloppy. I’m running mine with a folding brace, a 45° full-throat brake, hand stop, laser/light, and a Sightmark R-Spec, and the whole thing just comes together really well. At this point I’ve shot 4 versions of this platform: 1. JagerPMC with 10/22 Charger 2. Desert Tech Trek-22 3. Stock Ruger 10/22 4. 10/22 with the Gungnir chassis My ranking is easily: #1 JagerPMC #2 Desert Tech Trek-22 #3 Stock Ruger #4 Gungnir chassis And yeah, I still regret the Gungnir purchase lol. Compared to that one, it’s not even close. With the Gungnir, loading mags felt awkward, things didn’t really feel like a true flush drop-in, and the finish just felt underwhelming. The JagerPMC was the exact opposite. Also, the $15 JagerPMC mags deserve way more attention. They undercut the stock options by a lot, but they’re still well made, well thought out, and honestly better than BX-25s in my opinion. They should be selling way more than they are. Also worth mentioning, Mark has been responsive, straightforward, and easy to deal with. So yeah, honest review: if you’re looking at JagerPMC and thinking it’s just another 10/22 chassis, I’d say it’s more than that. Affordable, customizable, clean, solid, and actually worth the money.
