1.Loosen buffer tube retention screw using a 1/16" Allen wrench.  2. Insert standard AR buffer tube(not included) into the chassis and screw in clockwise direction.
3. Screw buffer tube in until the groove on the bottom of the tube is aligned with the Buffer Tube Retention Screw AND when the remaining visible threads can be covered by the Castle Nut(not included). 4. Tighten Buffer Tube Retention Screw using 1/16" Allen wrench.
5.Tighten Castle Nut  6. Place pistol grip (not included) onto the Pistol Grip Stud, located to the front of the Buffer Tube Retention Screw.
7. Use an Allen wrench to tighten the screw (normally provided with the pistol grip at purchase) to secure the grip to the Pistol Grip Stud on the Chassis Body. 8. Remove thread protector from barrel. Place crush washer(not included) or brake clocking shims(not included) on the end of the barrel.
9. Thread muzzle device provided onto the barrel in a clockwise direction until fully secure. 10. When brake is fully tightened, the top brake ports should be aligned with the top of the barrel. Please note that improper installation of the Brake will affect the installation of the Hand Guard.
11. After removing the receiver and barrel assembly from the OEM stock, tilt and insert into the Chassis Body. 12. Ensure that the receiver and barrel assembly is fully seated into the Chassis Body.
13. Slide the provided Handguard over the Muzzle Device and barrel. NOTE: When installing on Ruger 10/22 Rifles, the REAR SIGHT MUST BE REMOVED prior to installation of the handguard. Consult Ruger's owner manual or other qualified sources regarding the proper method for removal. 14. Gently guide the handguard until it is seated snugly against the Chassis Body. 
15. Locate the three (3) Handguard Retention Screws included with the Chassis System. 16. Using an M3 Allen wrench, insert and tighten one of the shorter screws into the handguard as shown.
17. Turn the weapon over and repeat step 16 on the opposite side of the Chassis. 18. Using an M3 Allen wrench, insert and tighten the longer of the three screws into the bottom of the handguard as shown.
19. Locate the receiver retention screw provided with the firearm. Using a 5/32" Allen wrench, secure the Chassis Body and Handguard to the firearms's receiver using the receiver retention screw from your 10/22 Carbine or Charger.
Following installation of the Chassis System, rail pieces can be installed on the handguard as normal.
